This 5-Week Skill-Building Program, targeted for mid-managers and supervisors, occurs every Monday morning for 5 weeks.
In this virtual, highly interactive management skills training, facilitated by Sogence Training and Consulting, health center managers and supervisors at all levels develop and strengthen key skills necessary to successfully navigate their roles in today’s increasingly challenging CHC environment.
Using the Zoom online video platform, we replicate the “face-to-face” experience we are currently unable to have in person. Throughout the 5 sessions, participants gain knowledge and skills, work together in large and small groups, participate in hands-on exercises, and discuss crucial issues in engaging, managing and retaining health center staff. See Agenda for more individual class details.
Important note: Each participant will need a webcam to join this training. If access to a computer with a webcam is not available, Zoom has an excellent app and participants may join via cell phone or tablet with video capability. To best facilitate discussion, we request that each participant join the training on an individual device (one person per webcam).
This Skill-Building Program is limited to 35 registrants, maximum of 3 per health center. We will also be keeping a wait list to help manage any registration overflow.
This is a 5-part class. Due to the hands on group work and short pieces of homework, all 5 sessions must be attended “live.” Individual sessions will not be recorded.
Target Audience: Mid-level managers and supervisors.
