The National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers (NCTRC) is pleased to announce its new webinar series focused on telehealth issues in a community health center (CHC) setting. Each webinar will focus in on a particular condition in which telehealth can be used, the issues CHCs will face and how a CHC implemented a successful program. Hear about the opportunities, the obstacles and the solutions. Representatives from federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and rural health clinics (RHCs) are encouraged to attend. There is no charge for this series.
Learn how to get started. We’ll review what you need to consider when developing your telehealth program, from selecting equipment to policy issues you need to consider. Hear from an FQHC success story on how they did it. With the increasing number of reimbursement codes and interest from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in paying for Chronic Care Management (CCM) services in Medicare, opportunities are available to CHCs to take advantage of utilizing remote patient technology (RPM) to address their community’s needs. By managing chronic conditions, more serious health episodes may be avoided leading to potential cost saving and better quality of life for patients. Hear about these opportunities and how to go about taking advantage of them.
