Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Eastport Health Care (EHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center in Washington County, Maine, is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our integrated Behavioral Health team.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic consultations, medication management, and urgent psychiatric care as needed. This role develops individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an integrated care team and ensures compliance with all State and Federal regulations and best practice standards. Accurate and timely EHR documentation is required. The provider will direct support staff in clinical and administrative duties, participate in staff evaluations, and represent EHC professionally in meetings and community settings. Off-site psychiatric services may be provided when applicable.
Minimum Requirements: Advanced Practice Nursing degree with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification, active state licensure with national certification, and demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated treatment team is essential.
