Join one of the most inventive and forward-looking FQHCs in the country. Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to be based at Bangor High School as part of our School-Based Health Center services.

Highlights:

This is a new and expanding primary school-based health service offering – help shape the foundational elements of this service!
Must be board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Must be flexible, and comfortable in a developing environment
Work will be primarily in-person on-site at the school
The positon is planned for full-time, 40 hours per week, year-around
Scheduled generally Monday – Friday
Time will be split between on-site at school and a PCHC primary care practice
Office space on the PCHC campus is being planned for when school is not in session
This is a unique and developing opportunity to play a key and foundational role in increasing access to primary health care services for the Bangor High School’s population, approximately 1,200 students grades 9 -12.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary primary care and mental health providers throughout PCHC, work closely with peers in other School-Based Health Centers. The position will promote timely access to care, continuity of care, and the enhancement of well-being in our area’s children.
