Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking an experienced Dentist to provide Per-Diem coverage as part of our School-Based Health Center services. This is a unique and developing opportunity to practice locally and play a key foundational role in increasing access to dental services for students ages 5-18.


  • Shifts as needed, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
  • Some flexibility in schedule.
  • Providing dental services to community school-based health programs ages ranging from 5-18 years old.
  • Working collaboratively with the Executive Clinical Director of Dentistry, Executive Division Director,
  • and Dental Practice Director, identifying methods and means to meet the needs of the program.
  • A rewarding position to support early prevention and restorative care to children.
  • Must be board-certified or board-eligible, licensed in the State of Maine.
  • Must be comfortable in a dynamic, developing care environment.
  • Work will be in-person, on-site within our School Based Health Center sites in Bangor and Brewer Schools.
