Jennifer Schoonover

As the Health Information Technology (HIT) Program Manager, Jennifer (Jen) leads the collaboration with the HRSA-funded Health Center Controlled Networks (HCCN) program CHCNet. Jen is driven to identify opportunities where technology and data can strengthen Maine’s Community Health Centers’ efforts to serve their communities and provides training and technical assistance to participating health centers across the state. Jennifer’s passion is centered around harnessing the strength of more than 20 years’ experience in the medical/healthcare industry and acting as a liaison to support some of the most remote and under-resourced community health centers in the northeast. Her favorite pastimes are wildlife photography, whale watching, cookie decorating, and wild bird watching.
