This webinar series is offered in partnership with the Maine CDC. \nCurrently\, 1 in 7 children and 1 in 5 adults in Maine are living with obesity and there’s a lack of understanding about obesity as a disease that contributes to trauma and stigma. The first webinar in the series will feature Dr. O’Hara and include a discussion of the pathophysiology of obesity. The second webinar will feature Elizabeth Paul\, Obesity Action Coalition Board Member\, and will highlight the patient and parent perspective on the challenges of obesity treatment.
