American Red Cross Blood Drive
Give Blood get a COVID-19 Antibody Test at our Bucksport clinic from 1 – 6 PM. An antibody test will show if your immune system has responded to the infection, meaning you have had the virus, NOT if the virus is currently present.

EHC Patient Recognition Raffle
EHC wants to recognize and thank our patients for choosing EHC! Patients will be invited to complete a raffle ticket each time they have a patient visit at any of EHC's three sites during National Health Center Week. The raffle tickets will be put into a drawing that will occur on Friday afternoon of Health Center Week (August 14). Drawing will occur in Machias and Eastport and the winners will receive a gift bag full of healthy products and goodies!

Dental Hygiene Poster Contest
EHC is partnering with the Eastport Summer Lunch Program to implement a Dental Hygiene Poster Contest to school-aged students from Pre-K through grade 12. Upon receipt of information on oral health and what a dental hygienist does, and completion of a poster, students will receive dental supplies and other prizes.

The lunch program is doing pick-up delivery twice a week during NHCW. Students will receive information and poster supplies during the first pick-up of the week (8/10) and then submit completed posters and receive the prizes at the second pick-up scheduled during that week (8/12). School Supply Drive
Pines Primary Health Centers will be hosting a school supply drive to benefit the elementary children we serve in our direct areas. Just like good health, having the right supplies will get every kiddo off to an amazing start for the school year ahead! Just think about the impact we could make if we all brought in a box of colored pencils or a pack of glue sticks! Most needed supplies are: Clorox Wipes, Tissues, Washable Markers, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Glue Sticks, Erasers & #2 Pencils, and Highlighters.
