Please join Maine Primary Care Association for our Annual Clinical Education Retreat, hosted virtually on Zoom. This year’s event will focus on topics which are relevant to multi-disciplinary FQHC teams, and promote safe, high quality, clinical practice. We are excited to bring content expertise covering topics such as: Best Practices for Pandemic Response and Prevention, Immunization Safety, Engaging in Research Projects, Managing Chronic Endocrine Disease, Oral Health, and a continuation of our ongoing focus on Anti-Racist Healthcare.

Dr. Nirav Shah, Director of the MeCDC, opens the day with an update on where we are with COVID-19, and an overview of emerging risks related to the coronavirus, influenza, and other infectious disease. We will also discuss lessons learned from the local and national pandemic response, including evidence-based practice for patient care, as well as maintaining clinician well-being.
