Health Center Compliance Training

This two-part virtual training will provide Community Health Center leaders, including compliance staff, with practical, timely updates on the federal requirements shaping their work – spanning compliance program management, HIPAA, the Federal Tort Claims Act, Section 330, and the federal grant conditions and executive orders currently impacting CHCs. Across two afternoons, Powers attorneys will cover the latest regulatory and legal developments, identify emerging compliance risk areas, and provide concrete steps health centers can take to stay compliant and protect their funding.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Identify recent developments in health center compliance obligations, including compliance program expectations, HIPAA requirements, FTCA coverage, and Section 330 requirements;
2. Assess how recent changes may impact health center operations and finance; and
3. Apply practical risk-management strategies to respond to new and emerging federal requirements.

Target audience for full training series: CEOs, CFOs, COOs.

Cost: MPCA will invoice health centers who register for the compliance training series for a $450 fee. This fee covers all registrants from that health center for all of the sessions. In addition, MPCA will also cover the remainder of the engagement fee for this important training.
