Darcy Shargo is the CEO at MPCA, where she oversees organizational strategy, policy/advocacy, and member relations for the Association. Darcy first joined MPCA in 2003 and was here until 2006; she came back to MPCA in 2010. She brings over 20 years of experience in association management, program development, and policy to her position. Darcy holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell College and a Master’s Degree from Goddard College.

Hillary Colcord is the Chief of Culture at MPCA, where she focuses on organizational culture and wellness, as well as member-facing presentations on workplace safety and staff resilience. Hillary has been with MPCA since 2019 and brings extensive experience working in low-barrier settings with people experiencing chronic homelessness, providing front-line services as well as developing programs and strategies to support staff in meeting complex community needs. Hillary holds a B.A. in Sociology from Suffolk University, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of New England.

Elizabeth Keene is the Chief Operating Officer at MPCA, where she oversees operational functions, manages budgets, and works closely with the CEO to implement MPCA’s strategic plan. Elizabeth has been with the organization since 2024 and brings 30 years of experience in healthcare and healthcare administration to her position. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Boston College.

Christopher Pezzullo, DO, is the Chief Clinical Officer at MPCA, where he directs the MePCA Patient Safety Organization and provides clinical guidance to a variety of grants and endeavors. Chris has been with the organization since 2019 and brings almost 30 years of experience as a pediatrician to his position. Chris holds both a DO from UNECOM and an MPH from USM.

Bryan Wyatt is the Chief Public Affairs Officer at MPCA, where he is responsible for overseeing the organization’s strategic communications and public policy initiatives. Bryan has been with MPCA since 2016 and brings over 30 years of experience in public relations, crisis management, and government relations to his position. Bryan holds a B.S. in Government and a M.A. in Political Management.

Emily Ferry is the Senior Director of Training and Program Development where she serves as a strategic leader of MPCA’s training and technical assistance (T/TA). As the senior programmatic lead for T/TA, she establishes organizational priorities, drives alignment across funding streams, and ensures that MPCA’s services reflect the evolving needs of member community health centers (CHCs), funders, and the broader primary care landscape in Maine. Emily has been with the organization since September 2020 and brings 15 years of experience in community-based program development, organizing, and education to her position. Emily holds a dual bachelor’s in education and Spanish Language, Literature and Culture from Marquette University, and a Master of Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago.

Robert “Bobby” Martin : Senior Director of Strategy and Partnerships

Bobby Martin is MPCA’s Senior Director of Strategy and Partnerships. In his role, Bobby supports the Community Health Center network in the areas of value-based care and payment reform, cross-system collaboration, and policy advocacy. Having started his career in behavioral health services, Bobby joined MPCA in 2022, bringing a passion for integrated and trauma-informed care delivery though policy, systems change, and clinical innovation. Bobby’s prior work leading Medicaid strategic initiatives includes implementation of System of Care governance structures, design of advanced primary care models serving children in out of home placements, creation of a web-based care coordination platform, and other innovations to better serve the community. Throughout his career Bobby has worked to improve healthcare quality and access for vulnerable children and families, his professional passion. He is a Pacific Northwest transplant and a graduate of Boston College.

Sharon Stanley is the Senior Director of Health Center Finance and Technology at MPCA, where she oversees Maine’s Health Center Controlled Network (CHCNet) and Financial Support Services for health centers. Sharon has been with MPCA since 2019 and brings 20 years of experience in health care financial analysis to her position. Sharon holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Business Administration from Thomas College. She also is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and a Certified Professional Biller (CPB) with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

Leslie Lorentzen is the Director of Workforce Initiatives at Maine Primary Care Association, where she provides strategic leadership for MPCA's health workforce programming by setting direction, building external partnerships, and advancing sustainable workforce initiatives across Maine's health center network. She joined MPCA in 2021 and brings over 10 years of experience building sustainable workforce teams, along with a lifetime of lived experience in Maine that deepens her connection to the state's landscape and communities. Leslie holds a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety, a B.S. in Library and Information Science, and a Master's in Public Health. She is currently pursuing her DHSc at MCPHS.

Megan is the Director of Government Relations at MPCA, where she is responsible for leading the organization’s public policy initiatives and building the capacity of MPCA’s members to advocate effectively for their mission. Megan joined MPCA in 2026 and brings over 10 years of experience as a Constituent Services Representative in U.S. Senator Angus S. King, Jr.’s office, as well as experience as a legal intern with Disability Rights Maine, the Maine ACLU, and the U.S. Commission of Civil Rights. Megan holds a BA from Texas A&M University, an MA from Brandeis University, and a JD from the University of Maine School of Law.

Ashley Cleary is the CQI Program Manager at MPCA, where she manages multiple grants related to cancer screening, patient navigation and mental and maternal health. Ashley has been with the organization since 2021 and brings 8 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement to her position. Megan Cross is the Data Systems Program Manager at MPCA, where she manages the internal data systems of MPCA, leads the Emergency Preparedness work, and supports the program work in the Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN). Megan has been with the organization since 2021 and brings over 10 years of experience in data systems and training to her position. Megan holds a BA in psychology.

Carrie Mead is the CQI Program Manager at MPCA, where she oversees grant work on cardiovascular disease and diabetes treatment and prevention programs, partnering with health centers to implement quality initiatives and patient-centered programs. Carrie is also the outreach and enrollment lead at MPCA, supporting enrollment assisters in Maine’s health center network. Carrie has been with the organization since 2024 and brings 14 years of experience in non-profit health program management to the CQI Program Manager position. Carrie holds a BA in History.

Kevin Reynolds is the Data Quality Program Manager at MPCA, where he provides training and technical support to CHCNet Health Centers, as well as manages MPCA Organizational and Program Informational Systems. Kevin joined MPCA in 2025 and brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry working in both the provider and insurance communities. He has extensive experience in Revenue Cycle Management, Coding and Claims Review. Kevin is a Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

Leslie has been with the organization since 2025 and brings 8 years of experience in communications and marketing to the Communication and Member Services position. Leslie holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and sustainability.

Dennis holds an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
